The population currently Huanuni borders by 45000 people, at times dramatically reduces all depends on the price of tin.

The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is held every year, but some of the time had to be abandoned for reasons of force majeure, as happened in 2006, but 2008, the entry of different musical ensembles of the most colorful was , in which many youth participated and was much excitement in the dancers and the population, many of them took to the beat of the music they played the best bands the city of Oruro and the population itself.

Huanuni, for many is frozen in time and space, with little change Huanuni is there, be there forever.

After entry, the participating teams and the people of Huanuni move en masse to the population of Sale and Poopo Middle Township, located about 3 km in the town of Sale and Media is the home of the Virgin of Rosario and where an official Mass, attended by all priostes and devotees. Dalence AFTER 516 YEARS break the shackles of injustice, MARGIN AND EXCLUSION OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND NATIONS OF BOLIVIA

It took 516 years from the English conquest and 183 years of independence, to break the shackles of injustice, marginalization and exclusion of which were indigenous peoples and nations of Bolivia.
During colonial times, for over 300 years were treated brutally by their status as beasts of mitayo, thousands and thousands died in tunnels extracting wealth for the Iberians, in return were flogged, they were not considered men but beasts.
are countless indigenous uprisings, for the inhumane treatment they underwent, one that put in serious Room shortage to the English crown was the Tupac Katari in 1780. Cholos joining the English mestizos, not in combat, but for treason Tupac Katari was captured and executed in the village of PeƱas. This leader aymara one of the torments suffered more egregious than the human mind could imagine living quartered by four horses, in its ruling of 1781 said "Neither the King nor the State agrees, that seed of Tupac Katari, is, because otherwise it would be a perpetual ferment" (Camacho , 1927). The Court further notes a deep racial hatred that still endures today. Before being executed
Tupac Katari uttered "I die, but after I come millions and millions", these prophetic words come true in the march to the siege of Congress for the approval of the NCPE involving thousands and thousands of indigenous, different First Nations, representing the high and low by showing the world that we are flesh and blood and not what we affirm Juan Gines de Sepulveda in 1550 "the Indian is not man, beast," today we showed the world that we are millions and men are equal to those found in the world.
The Indian of today is no longer illiterate Indian, India thinks today, so Fausto Reinaga in 1970, said: I am an Indian, an Indian who thinks making ideas, creating ideas, was alone, I will be millions and arrived day white-mestizo society, howled in pain and crying blood because of my word. Today

prophetic words come true, we see the impotence of the white-mestizo class, uses different tricks to keep the privilege of living off the people.

With New EPC, start a new Pachakuti from now to rewrite the true history of Bolivia, bringing to light the invisible indigenous leaders, who gave their lives for the liberation of First Nations peoples of Bolivia.

The massive concentration of indigenous people in the Plaza Murillo, no desks or tables was necessary to stamp a seal and initial firms did in the concrete floor of the plaza, to record in the book of Acts, this historic event will be remembered as one of the most momentous historical chapters in the life of the indigenous peoples of Bolivia.

originating from the ayllu authorities Bombo: Dion Cerrogrande, Remigio Villca, Virginio Sandy and Eugene Huarayo participate in this historic march in column Dalence Marka.
